DCT-LX5 | |||||||
The emFONE LX-5 is an auto-dialling lift telephone system designed to save telephone lines by having one external line and up to 32 internal elevator intercom units. The unit will direct all emergency calls to a console within the building’s security control center. If the control co-ordinator fails to answer an incoming call, then the system will externally dial out up to eight other emergency telephone numbers stored in memory. The security room console will identify the calling lift on an LCD display. If the console is not answered within a pre-set time then the system will dial out to the lift company using the external line. If a console is not fitted as an option then the unit will dial out to the external control centre immediately. The system will help a person unable to communicate with the service provider, either through physical disability or language difference. A remote programmable digital voice message of up to 16 seconds is played upon answer of the call, and is used to identify the calling location to the service provider. The lift company can ring into the system and select any lift car or intercom station to communicate with, or if necessary talk to all intercom stations by a group page. System self diagnostics will identify and alert of telephone line and/or power failure to the unit. The system also continuously checks for cable faults between intercom units and the main control system. Also all intercom stations are checked by the main controller for full functionality. |
